町田 天音（まちだ あまね）
A Japanese soprano, Amane Machida, is a recent graduate of Indiana University Jacobs School of Music. She made her role debut as Susanna in Le nozze di Figaro at Lyric Opera Studio Weimar in 2021, where she appeared as Zweite Dame and Zweite Knabe in Die Zauberflöte in 2017. In previous summers, she participated in SongFest and Tokyo International Vocal Academy. She was a member of NOTUS: IU Contemporary Vocal Ensemble.
Amane loves creating music with her friends and has been actively performing new compositions to share messages of living artists.
She received the Austin B. Caswell Award in recognition of her academic paper, “A computational music analysis of Handel’s two divas and their musical taste.”
